Resources for children
Dublin City is proud to partner with The Carter Centre on the Inform Women, Transform Lives Campaign aimed at ensuring women have equal access to information that can help to enable and empower.
Dublin is one of 13 cities taking part in this global initiative with a shared goal to provide information and drive awareness of required and useful information for women. Women around the world are the least likely to demand and receive access to information yet are the most in need of this powerful tool.
We carried out research within the Dublin community to find out what information women required, and we have collated the most requested topics with links to relevant information for each topic
Your first point of contact
The Dublin City Local Enterprise Office should be your first point of contact for training, business support and mentoring.
There are several training services and events including mentoring sessions, management development,
how to create an enterprise programme and much more.

Councillor Alison Gilliland
“Information affords us the power to make change but too often when we need information or support we don’t know where to go. Whether it be what courses are happening in our local area, how to report illegal dumping on our street or who to contact for advice on domestic abuse this Inform Women, Transform Lives website seeks to bring information and support to women in one place. I would encourage women to use it and to share it with others. I would also encourage women to engage with this project and connect with each other in sisterhood through it”
